Global Tour Chronicle – IT Model https://itmodel.cn Not a studio. A noise foundry. Their European leg has already launched from London, hitting Leeds, Dublin, Manchester, Glasgow, Edinburgh, and is now heading south into Germany and Southern Europe. A fall return to North America is set, and a winter debut in South America is on the table.

And on the wall of the production hub, that pin‑studded world map — every pin marking a show already played or about to be played — is now so dense you can barely make out the longitude lines underneath.

Their journey never ends. Every show is the starting line for the next one.

2025 · The Production Hub Year — LA as the Global Launchpad https://itmodel.cn/index.php/2025/11/10/2025-the-production-hub-year-la-as-the-global-launchpad/ https://itmodel.cn/index.php/2025/11/10/2025-the-production-hub-year-la-as-the-global-launchpad/#respond Mon, 10 Nov 2025 07:23:01 +0000 https://itmodel.cn/?p=46 In 2025, IT Model did two things: stopped, and then restarted.

The first half of the year was spent mostly inside their Los Angeles production hub — that downtown warehouse they’d fallen for three years earlier — recording their third studio album. It was the first time they’d ever created in a space entirely their own: no studio‑clock countdowns, no producer breathing down their necks, just concrete walls, leaky skylights, and a cassette recorder that never stopped spinning.

In the second half, the new album dropped, and with it came another dense global tour. But this time, the routes no longer radiated from London — they radiated from Los Angeles. The hub became their axis, sending them east to Europe, west to Asia, and south to Australia and New Zealand.

Key stops:

  • North America: Los Angeles (home base), New York, Chicago, Toronto, Mexico City
  • Europe: London, Paris, Berlin, Barcelona, Amsterdam
  • Asia‑Pacific: Sydney, Melbourne, Auckland, Tokyo, Shanghai

Iconic moment: The LA Production Hub open day — the band invited a hundred fans into the warehouse for an intimate acoustic set in the very room where they’d recorded. It was the closest and quietest IT Model show ever — and somehow the most explosive.

That year, “IT Model” stopped being just a band. It became a global tribe that speaks in noise and lives by the road.

2024 · Echoes World Tour — A Transcontinental Noise Network https://itmodel.cn/index.php/2024/11/18/2024-echoes-world-tour-a-transcontinental-noise-network/ https://itmodel.cn/index.php/2024/11/18/2024-echoes-world-tour-a-transcontinental-noise-network/#respond Mon, 18 Nov 2024 07:22:32 +0000 https://itmodel.cn/?p=44 In 2024, IT Model launched their biggest tour to date — the Echoes World Tour.

The route covered three continents simultaneously. Spring saw a return to Europe, sweeping the UK and Western Europe from London outward. Summer marked their first landing in Asia, with eleven shows across Japan, South Korea, and Southeast Asia. Autumn brought them back to North America for a deeper second run from coast to coast, including their first Canadian dates.

This was also the year they graduated to arena‑level venues — selling out London’s Brixton Academy, Los Angeles’ Hollywood Palladium, and Tokyo’s Zepp DiverCity.

Key stops:

  • Europe: London, Birmingham, Bristol, Brighton, Bordeaux, Paris, Marseille, Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Athens
  • Asia: Tokyo, Osaka, Seoul, Bangkok, Singapore
  • North America: New York, Los Angeles, Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Seattle, Portland

Iconic moment: Tokyo — the entire crowd sang the chorus of Good Riddance, 2020 in Japanese. The four of them froze for three seconds, then the bassist raised his instrument above his head and dropped to his knees on stage.

That year, IT Model’s name appeared on Rolling Stone‘s shortlist for “Best Live Act.”

2023 · North America Debut — From London to Los Angeles https://itmodel.cn/index.php/2023/12/02/2023-north-america-debut-from-london-to-los-angeles/ https://itmodel.cn/index.php/2023/12/02/2023-north-america-debut-from-london-to-los-angeles/#respond Sat, 02 Dec 2023 07:22:02 +0000 https://itmodel.cn/?p=42 2023 was IT Model’s “transatlantic year.”

After three years of battle‑hardening across Europe, they set their sights across the ocean. The autumn maiden voyage started in Brooklyn, New York, then hit Boston, Philadelphia, Chicago, Denver, Portland, and finally wrapped in Los Angeles. And the LA venue — a hollow downtown warehouse they would later convert into their production hub — spoke to them the moment they stepped in. After the show, the four of them stood in that empty concrete shell and, almost in unison, said: “This is it.”

North American audiences exceeded all expectations. They’d worried about starting from scratch, but the reputation had already crossed the Atlantic via word‑of‑mouth and bootleg streams.

Key stops: New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Chicago, Denver, Portland, Los Angeles, San Francisco.

Iconic moment: The LA warehouse show — five hundred people packed in, fire marshals shut them down twice, and twice they plugged back in and kept playing. That night, a spray‑painted line appeared on the wall: IT MODEL LA HUB.

That year, they went from a “European phenomenon” to a “global signal.”

2022 · Punks from Afar — Deep Dives into Eastern and Central Europe https://itmodel.cn/index.php/2022/12/22/2022-punks-from-afar-deep-dives-into-eastern-and-central-europe/ https://itmodel.cn/index.php/2022/12/22/2022-punks-from-afar-deep-dives-into-eastern-and-central-europe/#respond Thu, 22 Dec 2022 15:21:33 +0000 https://itmodel.cn/?p=40 In 2022, IT Model outgrew the comfort zones of Western and Southern Europe. Their gaze turned east.

The band called this their “Eastern Campaign.” The route stretched from Berlin through Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary, and finally to Riga in Latvia. Warsaw’s crowds were famously ferocious; Prague’s underground clubs were damp labyrinths; and a Budapest show lost power mid‑set, forcing an all‑acoustic set — which turned out to be the most unforgettable night of the entire run.

Meanwhile, they sold out top‑tier livehouses in Vienna and Amsterdam for the first time — tickets gone within four hours of release.

Key stops: Warsaw, Prague, Budapest, Vienna, Amsterdam, Riga.

Iconic moment: The Budapest blackout night — the vocalist sat on the edge of the stage with an acoustic guitar, and two thousand voices sang along, no PA, just human throats and wall echoes.

That year, IT Model’s name first appeared on the shortlist for major European festival headliners.

2021 · Noise Pilgrimage — Breaking into Southern Europe and Scandinavia https://itmodel.cn/index.php/2021/10/03/2021-noise-pilgrimage-breaking-into-southern-europe-and-scandinavia/ https://itmodel.cn/index.php/2021/10/03/2021-noise-pilgrimage-breaking-into-southern-europe-and-scandinavia/#respond Sun, 03 Oct 2021 09:20:56 +0000 https://itmodel.cn/?p=38 Vaccines arrived, borders loosened, and IT Model’s tour map began to explode.

In spring 2021, carrying their new EP Noise Pilgrimage, they pushed south for the first time — into the Iberian Peninsula and along the Mediterranean coast. From Montmartre to Barcelona’s sea breeze, from Lisbon’s tram tracks to Milan’s vintage theatres, each stop drew bigger crowds than the last. People were starved for live music, and IT Model’s show was the best antidote they could find.

By summer, they swung north into the land of the midnight sun. Copenhagen and Stockholm are known for their cool audiences, but IT Model smashed that Scandinavian ice with sweat and raw screams.

Key stops: Paris, Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Marseille, Lisbon, Porto, Milan, Florence, Copenhagen, Stockholm.

Iconic moment: After a Barcelona show, the crowd refused to leave. The band came back on stage and improvised three brand‑new songs — without titles — two of which later made it onto their next album.

That year, they evolved from “UK punk newcomers” into “Europe’s most unmissable live act.”

2020 · Good Riddance, 2020 — Europe’s Last Stand https://itmodel.cn/index.php/2020/07/23/2020-good-riddance-2020-europes-last-stand/ https://itmodel.cn/index.php/2020/07/23/2020-good-riddance-2020-europes-last-stand/#respond Thu, 23 Jul 2020 07:20:23 +0000 https://itmodel.cn/?p=36 That year, the world hit pause. Livehouse doors were padlocked, tour buses sat rusting in lots, and the entire music industry hibernated through a long, dark winter.

But IT Model was never a band that would just lie down and die.

In the summer of 2020, while most bands were still rehearsing over Zoom, they crammed into a beat‑up Ford Transit, armed with ten new songs — the full tracklist of what would become the album Good Riddance, 2020 — and set off from London, heading east. COVID test certificates stuffed the glovebox; border controls felt like defusing bombs at random. They played to twenty masked souls in hollowed‑out clubs, powered impromptu sets with generators in parking lots, and scribbled next‑day anthems around campfire light.

Key stops: London, Leeds, Manchester, Dublin, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Munich, Hamburg, Berlin.

Iconic moment: A Berlin show was cancelled on the spot, so they set up right outside the club’s plaza. Over two hundred people gathered — it became one of Europe’s few “open‑air punk parties” of 2020.

That year, they proved one thing: noise needs no permission.
