It was the first time they&#8217;d ever created in a space entirely their own: no studio\u2011clock countdowns, no producer breathing down their necks, just concrete walls, leaky skylights, and a cassette recorder that never stopped spinning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the second half, the new album dropped, and with it came another dense global tour. But this time, the routes no longer radiated from London \u2014&nbsp;<strong>they radiated from Los Angeles.<\/strong>&nbsp;The hub became their axis, sending them east to Europe, west to Asia, and south to Australia and New Zealand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Key stops:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>North America:<\/strong>\u00a0Los Angeles (home base), New York, Chicago, Toronto, Mexico City<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Europe:<\/strong>\u00a0London, Paris, Berlin, Barcelona, Amsterdam<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Asia\u2011Pacific:<\/strong>\u00a0Sydney, Melbourne, Auckland, Tokyo, Shanghai<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Iconic moment:<\/strong>&nbsp;The LA Production Hub open day \u2014 the band invited a hundred fans into the warehouse for an intimate acoustic set in the very room where they&#8217;d recorded. It was the closest and quietest IT Model show ever \u2014 and somehow the most explosive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That year, &#8220;IT Model&#8221; stopped being just a band.
